Overview

Tsunomaki Watame (角巻わため), born June 06th, age 4 years old (in sheep years), is the resident sheep of Hololive 4th Generation. The fluffiest addition to the Hololive yet, Watame is one of the kindest and most emotional member of among the 4th Generation, if not among all of Hololive. Watame debuted on December 12th 2019, the third to debut for the 4th Generation. Prior to debuting as part of Hololive 4th Generation, Watame was (and still is) a 35P, which is really evident in her love for her Miko-senpai[citation needed]. Watame's fan group is affectionately referred to as Watamates (わためいと), a portmanteau of Watame and Mates. Also, her Youtube membership option is referred to as "Member Sheep". As Watame herself loves pun and wordplay, these naming conventions is very fitting of her.

Watame is heavily music-oriented and music is one of her primary content. This mainly includes her two regular "programs", Watame no Uta (わためのうた) or WataUta for short translated to Watame Song Corner and Watame Night Fever. WataUta is an early morning program that is essentially a small corner of short cover of multiple song that Watame does as short of an opening show to Kiryu Coco's AsaCoco [link and page needed]. Watame Night Fever instead, is a 2 hour long karaoke stream that Watame does weekly every weekend. Every singing done by Watame is something she puts her passion into, even often taking multiple retakes for her morning WataUta due to occasionally being unsatisfied with the result [citation needed]. Aside from her two regular singing program, Watame also does a number of song cover on her channel.

In addition to music, Watame is also quite the gamer. While not as hardcore as the other members like Minato Aqua for example, Watame enjoys a fair amount of video gaming, across multiple genre of game. This includes but is not limited to ARK, Apex, Minecraft, Splatoon, Mario Kart. Essentially, Watame is flexible in her gaming, and she participates in a lot of multiplayer game collabs with both her fellow 4th Generation and with her senpai(s)

Watame is part of multiple collab groups and pairings, with the most notable being the PPTrio with fellow 4th Generation Kiryu Coco and Amane Kanata, the Bakatare group with GAMERS Shirakami Fubuki and 3rd Generation Shiranui Flare, and also being paired together with Akai Haato after their antics in Minecraft.

Personality

Watame has a gentle disposition using calm and polite language. She is also known among her peers as being quite warm and friendly. During her debut, she expressed a shy attitude at times when she wasn't singing. As she is a sheep, Watame also speaks its language. Often in her livestreams, one will find some phrases replaced with bleats. Not just restricted to spoken dialogue, her streams may often have imprinted "ネタバレめぇめぇ！" (netabare mee mee!) which is highly-assumed to mean "No spoilers!" in the language of the sheep.

During gaming streams, she rarely shows frustration no matter the situation. Often, she will play very sweet and cute games, such as "Hansel and Gretel" or "Final Fantasy IX" though very often dabbles in horror games that are being recently played. Moderately weak to the genre, and certainly quite weak to jumpscares, Watame will often shriek at the slightest movement. In most-to-all of her gameplay streams, whenever she is stuck on a section, she will gracefully accept the assistance of her viewers.

Additionally, Watame is known for being exceptionally emotional. Should an emotional scene in a game appear, such as a death or marriage of a character, she is known to weep. At such times, she will often take a moment to regain her composure. This is not exclusive to gaming streams, however, as she cried quite often during her birthday weekend streams. Because of the sound of her sniffling, fans -- especially in the West -- often relate that to slurping ramen. As such, during moments where Watame is sobbing, chat will often type in "Time for ramen" or similar comments. For uploaded content, particularly "Watame no Uta" (Watame's Song Corner), Watame will show various expressions during her songs such as: happy, concerned, and serious. It may be the only way to see her serious face as she only uses it when singing certain styles of music.

Although relatively new to the ASMR area, Watame will often get fans enamored with how soft her voice is.
