Introduction Video[edit]

Her introduction video has been made private. Shown above instead is a featured video in her channel.

Official Bio[edit]

"Alona, everyone! This is Aki Rosenthal a.k.a. AkiRose!"

A girl who traveled from a different universe. She has hyper curiosity and dabbles in all sorts of things. Her trademark pigtails float due to some sort of supernatural power.

Overview[edit]

Aki Rosenthal (nicknamed Akirose) belongs to the Hololive 1st Generation. She debuted alongside Natsuiro Matsuri and Shirakami Fubuki. Because she didn't have pc nor laptop at beginning, and only had a phone provided by Cover, Aki used Mirrativ for her debut stream.

Aki is half-elf half-siren from another dimension, with her mother being a siren and her father an elf. Aki Rosenthal is not actually her real name, but a name given to her by Yagoo so she would have an understandable and easily pronounceable name here on Earth.

Aki's most distinctive trait are her floating twintails, which are connected to another dimension via mysterious power. She is also able to produce a wild variety of objects and materials from between her thighs, the nature of this 'portal' is just as mysterious as her twintails.

Aki's content used to be mostly focused on ASMR alongside some online games and live-cooking, but with her demonetization in December and later remonetization, she has been doing ASMR less often. She still does ASMR sometimes and she often has unique ideas, such as dish washing ASMR and gaming chair building ASMR. Aki also does binaural ASMR music.

Her representative emote is an apple.

Personality[edit]

Aki's streams are often relaxed and calming, but she is also quite weak to horror and is (in)famous for getting scared easily and her screams of horror and surprise are to be feared.

Aki is very poor with directions and gets lost very easily. This combined with her frequent bad luck makes her seem somewhat clumsy. Aki's frequent unlucky incidents and punishment games have shown her to be somewhat masochistic. She is good at cooking and sometimes streams her cooking live. Aki's love for alcohol is notorious. She loves beer and drinks either it or sake often on her streams.

Aki likes music and especially fancies drums and has bought her own drumset. Although she is not very skilled at playing drums, she still likes to play them and practices sometimes.

Aki's calming image often hides her somewhat subtle dad-jokes and dirty humor which is not easy to grasp for everyone. Natsuiro Matsuri has more than once pointed out how Aki is actually the more dirty-minded person, in contrast to how many people often seem to believe.

She was hospitalized and had to go through a surgery in late 2018. Her hiatus was announced on December 2, 2018. She streamed on December 5, 2018[43] before her hiatus, and returned on February 9th, 2019.

Trivia[edit]

  • The title of Aki's first original song, Sha-Le-Ys, is the name of Aki's home world.
  • Aki wrote Sha-Le-Ys herself, but the music production & Mix are by @kotoki48839382
  • Aki sometimes participates in Tsunomaki Watame's "Watame no Uta" morning show in the janken section with a "Akirose janken" or "Mukirose janken", of which the latter is impossible to win against.
  • Aki practices belly dancing and her goal since her debut has been to be the world's first virtual belly dancer.
  • Despite her looks, Aki is actually quite fit and can get good results in Ring Fit Adventure.
  • Her favorite fetish is tentacles [44]
  • According to Yuzuki Choco [45], before the 3rd Generation of talents was introduced, you didn't know who else was debuting in your generation until the day of debut. Starting at Gen 3, talents would know and hang out with each other before debut.
  • Is one of the Hololive Production VTubers with a verified YouTube channel. Other verified members can be found here.
  • Is one of the moderators in the official Hololive Subreddit. Other members can be seen here.

ARK and Mukiroze[edit]

  • Aki's ARK: Survival Evolved streams gave birth to Mukiroze, her overly muscular male avatar, which became popular among the audience and her colleagues alike.[46]
  • Aki's 'Mukiroze' avatar has become known for being almost always naked, with censored pants skin covering his privates. This trend was started by Kiryu Coco when she gave Mukiroze the Birthday Suit Pants Skin for the first time.[47]
  • Mukiroze is known for many deeds that are usually deemed impossible or just bad practices, when there would be better solutions. Examples include but are not limited to: Taming raptors with his fists, surviving the scorching heat of the sun for a full day naked and taming predators and large dinosaurs from the edge of a cliff without any traps.
  • Mukiroze's birthday is Jan 29th.

Aki's ARK streams and the birth of Mukiroze had a big impact on Aki's career. The birth of Mukiroze was so popular that it lead other people to discover Aki and her content and came back for more, boosting her usual viewer count.

For a long time she too was struggling with low numbers everywhere and she could never shake that off her mind. Since she knows numbers are what jobs keep track of when taking decisions. Therefore she would act to based on those too. It was only until she decided not to care about those anymore and do what she really liked when people started to know her for who she really is and started to grow more steadily.[48]

No speculations and rumors, just fun facts!
