A necromancer from the Underworld Academy who is not good at communicating with people. She does not want to be alone, however, which is why she talks to the spirits and the damned.
Uruha Rushia (潤羽るしあ) is a necromancer-in-training and a former member of the Hololive 3rd Generation of VTubers. She is a well-mannered and introverted girl who always strives to keep her fans entertained, even at her own expense.
She enjoys playing a wide genre of games, ranging from social simulation games, to shooting games, to horror games. She especially finds the Resident Evil/Biohazard series to be the most fun.
Rushia is sensitive about her small breast size and gets teased about it often by other streamers and her viewers.
Her representative emote is a butterfly, because of the butterfly imagery on her dress.
Rushia is a well-mannered and introverted girl who always prioritizes the viewers’ entertainment, making sure that everyone is having a good time together, even at her own expense.
She has a soft spot towards her fellow streamers and collaboration streams with her usually end up with many heart-warming and funny moments. Due to her introverted nature, she is normally soft-spoken during collaborations, unless she is pulled into the conversation. She often has trouble starting conversations or finding topics to talk about with her collaboration partners. [8]
She frequently acts very clingy/insecure, seeking affection from her fans and fellow streamers. When she does not get the attention she wants, her personality switches and becomes more assertive and aggressive, until she is satisfied.
She is well-known for acting opposite of her perceived character when playing rage-inducing games such as "Mario Kart" and "Getting Over It". She is also famous for "table-slamming", accidentally breaking things and being non tech-savvy, contrary to what one would expect.
She is easily distracted and absent-minded, often getting side-tracked while doing something, as well as forgetting controls and things taught to her a few moments prior. Her Superchat thanking time tends to drag on longer than most other VTubers due to her starting up conversations with her fans and going off on tangents.
On February 14, 2022, Cover Corp released a press statement condemning the online slander and defamation that Rushia and other talents had been subjected to, as well as the false information that had been circulating online, adding that "the private life of the talent is left up to the individual". Furthermore, Cover Corp stated they were investigating a "leakage of information including those of fellow business correspondents".[31]
On February 24, 2022, in another press statement, Cover Corp stated that their investigation confirmed that Rushia was the source of the leaks and was thus in breach of her contract. As a result, Cover Corp announced they would be terminating their contract with Rushia effective that same day, and would shut down Rushia's YouTube channel and membership at the end of March.[32]
