Overview

Shirakami Fubuki (白上フブキ) born October 05th is a fox girl for Hololive 1st Generation and leader of GAMERS (ホロライブゲーマーズ). Her debut was in June 01st 2018[1] after the creation of her Twitter and Youtube accounts on May 19th 2018 and May 23th 2018 respectively. She got her 1st version 3D model debut at October 17th 2018 made by schwarz [2], she got her updated and now currently used 3D model in March 22nd 2019 [3] She debuted her 3D swimsuit in August 28th 2019 [4], and received her 2nd live2D costume in December 22nd[5] and lastly she got her New Years costume at January 01st[6]

She held her own birthday party called FBKBP2019 at November 16th[7] It is the first solo-event and first cameo appearance of Kurokami in 3D form.


Fubuki currently has the highest subscriber count in Hololive in both Youtube and BiliBili as of May 21st 2020, standing at 583,000 (Youtube)[8] and 1,041,219 (Bilibili)[9] subscribers respectively.


Her original song Say!Fanfare hit 1,000,000 views on May 18th 2020. [10]


She is most known for her short-skit video posting on Twitter and Youtube, and have an exposure to western and eastern culture memes and demonstrates it to her audience in some form and shape. She is dubbed as the "Queen of Memes", among other related titles that the fans have recognized her in as.


She plays a variety of games, and often loves to try out any kind of games and in any genres, horror games being one of her deal (despite saying she doesn't like it). She admitted that her aim in FPS games are very bad during her debut video when asked about her skills. Very well known to be a poor driver as well, and has a tendency to mess around with her colleagues to get a laugh out of them as well.


She is very well known to be a whale (high roller) in gacha games and any aspects similar to it in games, and has shown streaming her rolls in mobages like FGO and Twisted Wonderland.

Personality

Shirakami Fubuki debuted with a personality showing off a timid, shy girl that fumbles over her words often, often hiding off the screen and quickly running away when doing embarrassing things. She has bad aim in FPS as she's admitted, and hates horror games but actually likes playing them (contradiction), and most of all she enjoys talking with people and would enjoy it if you paid attention to her.

Throughout the years she's gained experienced and since then she's gained confidence, the stamina to talk a lot (as demonstrated by her MC-ing the 6 hour long HoloComi event and having sang and MC'd in Non-Stop Story for the majority of the concert), and befriends anyone she meets. She is close to her colleagues and tries to help them in any way she can, indirectly or directly and even at the cost of her own self, she shoulders the pillar of the family around the start and have kept it up until recently where she has started relying on her own colleagues too.

Fubuki is also known to be pushing and trying to ease the interactions with sibling-branch Holostars with fellow Hololive talents, she has shown to collaborate and interact with the Holostars talent a number of times sometimes with 1st generation Natsuiro Matsuri.

She is known to be a whaler in gachas in mobages (Mobile Games), and have streamed her draws before to a shockingly amount that scares people of how much money she holds for her gachas. She easily throws tantrums as well for her own impatience and desperation sometimes, such as when her Turnip Stock crashes, or a neighborhood leaves in Animal Crossing, or when she goes on a 50 draw spree and get nothing out of it, or her indecisive decisions in shooters leaving her vulnerable, despite this she takes things in stride and plays it out as part of her gag.

She is known to be friends with some indie and other major company/group VTubers and has collaborated with most of them back then and they all have a generally good opinion of her, most of her colleagues sees her as an important figure and good friend, and 1st generation Natsuiro Matsuri also has commented that Fubuki is the pillar to Hololive and keeps it steady in a twitcast. She is held highly in regards to her image and character and shoulders that responsibility and weight of people relying on her.

Fubuki can get easily agitated when you call her a cat due to the frequency of people (newbies and fans alike) often mistaking her for a cat. The joke is either done out of fun or purely accidental and she will blurt out "Neko Janai! Kitsune Jai!/I'm not a cat! I'm a fox!".

She is shown to be easily embarrassed as well by certain topics, as evident by some of her member-only streams, zatsudan streams, or collaboration interactions examples being Natsuiro Matsuri, and Shiranui Flare's antics and poking at her among others.

  • She likes green tea juice (Tea*7), Yukimi Daifuku, Fruit Gummies, Miso Soup, as an extension she loves plush toys, tea, and reading books. [11] She heavily dislikes bitter things.
  • She has demonstrated being able to eat spicy foods without much reaction, as demonstrated during a collab stream that contained them eating Super Spicy Yakisoba MAX END.

Kurokami

Kurokami is Fubuki's alter persona, appeared at some point in February of 2019, she formally made her debut in September 07th 2019. [13] She has a more aggressive and harsh nature than the shy and calm Fubuki everyone knows, often not having any tact, coming off verbally strong to people, pushes her work to other people and absolutely hates doing embarrassing things.

Kurokami collabed with Matsuri's alter persona named Natsuiro Matsuhiko December 04th 2019[14]

After a collab stream with OKFAMS over at Ookami Mio's house, Fubuki stated in her stream she couldn't stream so on the next day Kurokami took over for a single stream of her playing an RPG maker game. [15]
