Hololive Honeyworks

hololive Honeyworks is a collaboration project between Hololive and popular music group HoneyWorks. The project was announced at the end of Splash Party: Sunshine, on August 27, 2023.^[1].The project consisted of two albums and a special stage for Hololive 5th fes. Capture The Moment as well as a multitude of promotional events in between. This is the second project of this type following the Holo*27 collab with Vocaloid producer Deco*27 in the previous year.

Project Content[edit]

Similar to its predecessor, the project consisted of two songs album, one cover songs album and one original album. Unique to HoloHoney is the addition of a lore featuring all participating members as part of a fictional Holohoneygaoka High School where each member is re-imagined as a student or teacher with their backstory explaining their song selection. Also new to HoloHoney is the unique promotional outfit for the participating members. As part of the promotion, selected songs from the two albums are released as Youtube MVs on the Hololive Official Channel from the day of the announcement until the albums release. The project culminated in the HoloHoney Stage for 5th Fes where all participating members performed their assigned songs. An art exhibition featuring arts from the project was also hosted at Tower Record Shibuya.

Former JP Gen 1 member Yozora Mel was orignally announced as part of the cast but was officially removed from the project due to her termination.
