HoloFes, also known as Hololive Fest, is a concert series produced by Hololive Production and COVER Corporation. The concert series has been a nearly yearly event since the first edition Nonstop Story.

Overview[edit]

HoloFes concerts features nearly all Hololive members aside from ones that was then recently debuted. Songs selection contain a mixed of cover songs as well as originals. Every featured members have their own solo segment as well as group songs. The event would take place at a real venue with a paid live stream as well a free live preview on the Hololive main channel on Youtube. 1st Fes was originally a single day event but the number of talents led to 2nd Fes onwards being organized as a multi-day event with the performing talents being splits between those days. Starting with 3rd Fes, Holofes was organized alongside HoloExpo. Each fes, Cover also make changes to the presentation, starting with AR integration in 2nd Fes, full virtual cameras for stream viewers in 3rd Fes, Guest artist Stage in 4th Fes and three screen setup at the venue for 5th Fes.

According to Yagoo, 1st Fes was the turning point for Hololive Production as a whole and helped secured the investment to expand its operation including the funding for its billion yen multimedia studio.

Hololive 1st Fes.[edit]

Hololive 1st Fes. Nonstop Story was hosted in January 2020, at the Toyosu PIT event venue.[2] It was the first live concert produced by Hololive to feature most of the talents at that time aside from the newly debuted JP Gen 4 and CN Gen 1. The concert also featured the first reveal of HoloFantasy 3D models.

Hololive 2nd Fes.[edit]

Hololive 2nd Fes. Beyond the Stage took place in December 2020 and is the second live concert to feature most of the talents at the time aside from the recently debuted JP Gen 5, ID Gen 1 and Gen 2 and Myth. Due to the restrictions caused by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there were no spectators at the venue, and instead the event organized as paid live streams through both Niconico and SPWN with a free portion being streamed to Youtube.[3] The concert was sponsored by Bushiroad, and featured the announcement of the original songs only Bloom, live concert to be held in 2021. 2nd Fes was the first one to change the format to a 2-days event with Gen 4 acting as the opening act for both. The concert was also the first to use Cover's new AR technology almost exlusively available to only livestream viewers of 2nd Fes and beyond.

Hololive 3rd Fes.[edit]

Hololive 3rd Fes. Link Your Wish is the third edition, which was hosted alongside Hololive Super Expo. The event was held both in-person at the Makuhari Messe Event Hall, and live streamed through Niconico and SPWN. The event was sponsored by Weiß Schwarz, and was the first to feature talents from Hololive English and Hololive Indonesia specifically the first generations of both.[4] Uruha Rushia was scheduled to be at the event but her appearance was hastily cancelled due to her sudden termination.

Hololive 4th Fes.[edit]

Hololive 4th Fes. Our Bright Parade is the fourth edition, and was hosted held alongside the new Hololive Super Expo 2023. The event was held in-person at Makuhari Messe Event Hall, as well as live-streamed via SPWN and the eplus streaming service instead of Niconico. The event featured a special stage, in collaboration with popular Vocaloid producer/composer DECO*27, hosted in the second the day of the event which showcases the special holo*27 collaboration project [5]. The event was sponsored by Bushiroad. Brand new Idol outfits were designed for all talents participating in 4th Fes. Hololive Japan outfits were designed by Sora's and Miko's illustrator Ordan, while Hololive English and Hololive Indonesia's outfits were designed by Bae's artist Mika Pikazo.[6][7] 4th Fes featured the Fes debut of HoloX, CouncilRyS (prior to their rebranding as Promise) and Holoro.

Hololive 5th Fes.[edit]

Hololive 5th. Fes. Capture the Moment is the fifth edition, and continues the established trend of being hosted alongside Hololive Super Expo. The event was held in-person at Makuahari Messe Event Hall, as well as live streamed through live-stream SPWN, e-plus with the free preview on the Hololive main Youtube channel. The preview is also simulcasted at the Expo live stage and the special viewing room within HoloEarth. 5th Fes featured the Fes debut of Holo3ro. Yozora Mel was supposed to participate in the concert if not for her termination.
