Hololy is an augmented reality app developed by COVER Corporation.[1] It allows users to view the models of Hololive talents, place them within their environment, and share photos and videos of the talents within the environment.[2]
Trivia[edit]
- The name of the app, "Hololy," is a portmanteau of "Hololive", and "diary" or "daily."[3] The English phonemes "l" and "r" sound identical to native Japanese speakers.
- The app is likely the vestigial remains of the original hololive app, specifically the AR livestream viewing function. The other half of the app is now the home motion capture app used by Hololive Production talents for their regular livestream.
