Hololive Summer 2022 (ホロライブ・サマー2022, Hororaibu samā 2022) is the debut extended play by Multinational Virtual Idol Group Hololive IDOL PROJECT. It was released with an accompanying special 2022 seasonal event of the same name on September 1, 2022, by Cover Corporation. The extended play was produced by ARM, YAS, Takayuki Ishikura, Ryota Nakano & Tomohiro Akiura. The album's lead single "Tonde K! hololive summer" was released on August 19, 2022.[1] The album's second single "Hololive Ondo" was released on August 22, 2022.[2] "Sparklers" was released as the album's third single on August 26, 2022.[3]
Background[edit]
hololive's Twitter account announced on July 30 2022, the "hololive Summer 2022" event, along with a video teaser and a special website for the event. According to the infomation on the website, the event would take place throughout August, with many activities such as comic exhibition at Comic Market 100 from August 13 to 14, some tournaments between members, manga videos on their YouTube channel, among others.[4]
