Kronii tried to upload the music video earlier, but her PC broke.^[1]
The backing track for Daydream was chosen by Kronii from a list of tracks.^[1]
The light pillar/streaking design in the MV (i.e. the lines at 0:07) represents the different timelines managed by Kronii^[2]
- LUMINA was inspired by watching the television series Loki, which involves the titular character, the Norse god Loki, being prosecuted for crimes against the timeline.^[2]
The glowing text written in cursive in the MV represents LUMINA's interpretation of the Hololive English lore.^[2]
- The text is illegible, even to Kronii^[2]
LUMINA spent 60 hours total on the MV, including rendering the project at 4K resolution.^[2]
- LUMINA designed every scene to be usable as a desktop wallpaper.^[2]
LUMINA planned to incorporate Kronii's loading and outro screens, but the files were corrupted which prevented her from doing so.^[2]
Daydream was originally titled Nightmare, however Kronii's manager thought the song sounded more like a daydream so Kronii agreed to change the song title. Kronii thinks the song is "too mystical" to be titled Nightmare.^[2]
