The Hololive Fan Wiki is a dedicated site for collecting information on the Virtual YouTuber agency Hololive Production and its talents. If you do not know what a Virtual YouTuber is please refer to this Wikipedia article.

We aim to provide fact-checked and factual information of the talents, adding only things confirmed by themselves or in an another official manner.

History

Hololive Fan Wiki traces its origins to conversations within the Hololive Fan Server Discord server, where from as early as October 2019, server members voiced their desire for an English wiki dedicated to all things Hololive. Hololive Fan Wiki was founded on May 20, 2020, when User:Catman504 brought the wiki online at 6:45 AM local server time following months of planning. After an application process, a total of 24 editors were chosen to seed the private, newborn wiki with content. After a month of work, on June 25, 2020, Hololive Fan Wiki went live and became publicly accessible on the internet.

Though the wiki was publicly accessible, editing was still restricted to approved editors only to protect the fledgling wiki from vandalism. Over its first year, the wiki slowly grew as more editors joined the initial 24.

On August 20, 2021, the wiki allowed public editing by all users for the first time after a consensus was reached with all active editors. Edits would still need to be screened by approved editors before being made publicly visible. One month after that, on September 27, 2021, the wiki's own Discord server used by its editors became open to the public.
