Due to a combination of her own shyness and the respect for her position as the founding member of Hololive, it was several years before she was able to get close to many member of the 3rd, 4th and 5th generations. This was compounded by her reputation as the epitome of 'seiso,' a Japanese term meaning 'pure, proper, or clean' (in terms of behavior, personality, and speech). Since 2022, due partly to the efforts of [[Omaru Polka]] and especially with the formation of the [[Star Animal|Star*Animal]] unit, she has had the opportunity to get closer to many of her juniors, and more regularly participates in tournaments and gaming events.
 
Sora's English is fairly good among the Japanese members. She explained this may be as she made a friend when she was around four years old, who was a native speaker whom she often talked to. </br>She always tries to understand English comments on her videos and will always look up the meanings for things she doesn't get.
