The covers info across the talent pages have inconsistent formating and some have wrong information or are outdated. This is a project that aims in updating and padronizing the format and fixing the issues that currently exists in the cover section following this new format.

Format Edit

The new format looks like this:

This is the most common type that you can find but some covers can be a little bit more complicated or can have more information added. As an example of one section that can be added, we have the "Original by" section. Most songs (specially VOCALOID songs), have a Fandom page and many of the songs already have a Fandom page linked or have an additional NicoNico Video. If one wants to add this information the format should be

(If original is only in NicoNico treat it as it was a YouTube link (i.e Syudou instead of )

Note that linking the Original Video might be best than linking the Original Uploader channel and then the video (cause you easily have access to the channel using the video link, so we can save space and make it cleaner)

Now, for crediting, some covers have other types of crediting (i.e Puppeting, Guitar, Bass, Piano Arrangement, Tunning...) while we have the priority to always list Instrumental, Illustration, Mixing and Video in that order first, any other type of credit can be added under following alphabetical order with 3 exceptions:

Any other Instrumental credit should be made after Instrumental and before Illustrarion (i.e the specification of who made the Guitar rift, Bass line, Piano etc)
Tuning is after Mixing and before Video.
Production is always the last one.

Still talking about credits, crediting people in consistent ways is also important to avoid confusion, the way that I suggest is:

"Original Name (Romanji if OG Name is in Japanese) - Company that the person works"

Example:

"奥村アキラ (Okumura Akira) - 東京テラス Music Production"

Code Example:

  奥村アキラ (Okumura Akira) - 東京テラス Music Production

In some cases, another talent may have provided some help in the making of a video (as it is the case in the early Sora covers with A-chan), those should but linked using the Template:WikiLink to keep visual consistency.

(For linking use any social media provided by ANY talent, preferences goes: Twitter, YouTube, NicoNico, Twitch, Facebook. If none provided don't link it (Other websites are also ok as long as you are 100% it is the right person (Or provided by a talent)), if another member of Hololive should be credited, link them to their own page inside this wiki)

"Sung by" in collab covers. Those should have the Channel Owner name first. So if a cover was made by Risu Iofi and Reine but the cover was uploaded in Iofi's channel, her name should come first no matter the page if you are seeing it. Also Remember to bold the name of the talent that you are currently seeing the page of. (If a whole generation is collabing then the generation page should be linked instead)

I think this is all for now. this page will most likely change before the project officialy starts.
